My Review: Late in the Day by Tessa Hadley is an emotional read that is sure to draw you into a world of complex relationships and the struggles that many people face in life. A story of friendship that goes way back with their struggles and entanglements. A simple fast-paced read that is sure to hold your attention until the end. Hadley writes with a subtle tone that slowly pulls away the layers to reveal the plot at just the right time.
