Review of A River Enchanted
A River Enchanted is the first book in the Elements of Cadence series by Rebecca Ross that follows several people who live on the magical isle of Cadence. A story that is inspired by Scotland. The setting was great. I loved how the island was split in two between the clans and had good and evil spirits that roamed it. And the plot that was equal parts mystery, romance, and coming of age story wrapped into a fantasy world was wonderful. The ending has me so excited for the next book, and I’ll be counting down the days until I can read it—an early front runner for my favorite book of the year. *I received a complimentary copy in exchange for a review.*
