She survives, hiding and clinging to life in the desert, while I reign as the false queen alongside the monstrous King Eidolon. There’s only one escape from this gilded prison: Reven. My Shadowraith. My heart. Only the shadows that he struggles to control are growing more sinister, more powerful.

It’s just a matter of time before they turn on him…and on me.

Even escape doesn’t mean true freedom, though, when we’re still on the run from Eidolon’s unstoppable armies. And when we discover there’s a traitor among us, I have no choice…I must become the queen I was never meant to be.

Because as one evil hunts me, the other loves me more than himself.

And my fate lies with both.

About the Author: Multi-award-winning author, Abigail Owen, writes adult paranormal romance & upper YA fantasy romance. She loves plots that move hot and fast, feisty heroines with sass, heroes with heart, a dash of snark, and oodles of HEAs! Other titles include wife, mother, Star Wars geek, ex-competitive skydiver, spreadsheet lover, eMBA, organizational guru, Texan, Aggie, and chocoholic.

Abigail attempted to find a practical career related to her favorite pastime by earning a degree in English Rhetoric (Technical Writing) and an MBA. However, she swiftly discovered that writing without imagination is not nearly as fun as writing with it.

Abigail currently resides in Austin, Texas, with her own swoon-worthy hero, their angelic (mostly) kids, who are growing up way too fast, and 2 adorable fur babies. https://abigailowen.com/

Review of The Stolen Throne

The Stolen Throne is the second installment in Abigail Owen’s captivating Dominions series. As a devoted fan of the first book, I was eagerly anticipating diving into this sequel, and it did not disappoint. An exceptional YA fantasy novel that left me spellbound from start to finish. This captivating storyline took me on a journey through heartache and brilliance, never stopping to ask if I could handle the emotional rollercoaster. The characters are so well-crafted that I felt as though I was walking through fire and devastation alongside them, enduring every tragedy imaginable to see them come out the other side unscathed. The opulence of this otherworldly tale is truly breathtaking, and the perseverance of the characters is nothing short of inspiring. From the first page to the last, you will be transported to a world of magic, intrigue, and danger. The Stolen Throne is a wickedly sizzling masterpiece that left me wanting more. I eagerly await the release of the next book in the series, as I am sure it will be just as enthralling as its predecessors. If you are a fan of YA fantasy, then this book is an absolute must-read.
